my son wears a 3.5 double wide shoe and stride rite is $50 for a pair that fit him. i am a single mother and i cant afford that. does anyone know of a trust worthy website i can buy baby shoes from that are double wide and wont over charge me?thanks.

I would rather my son walk barefoot, but he will be learning to walk this summer, and shoes will be necessary outside. I have been introduced to Rileyroos, and think they are adorable But I don't want to be sold on one single brand and not look at others first. I am looking for a shoe with very soft and flexible soles. Another thing I am looking for in them is shoes that will encourage his natural gait. Hopefully not too expensive too. . I recently had my sons shoe size measured at Clarks I don't want to buy clarks shoes as I don't like them . They said he is a 4 G, but this means nothing anywhere I go to get shoes for him.I have a few questions..1. He isn't quite walking so I didn't know if I should buy hard soles?2. If I buy hard soles, will they help him with his walking?3. I have tried size for on him in a few shops and his feet seem too wide for size 4, but not big enough for size 5.
